Five people detected while attempting to illegally cross the green border


Border Police officers within Nadlac Border Police Sector apprehended five people from Algeria and Tunisia who intended to illegally reach the Schengen area.
Yesterday and last night, two border police surveillance patrols within Nadlac Border Police Sector detected two groups consisting of five men, walking towards Hungary.
The aforementioned people were apprehended at about 100 meters inside from the neighboring territory, at the West side of Nadlac.
Following the investigation was established the fact the two are citizens of Afghan and Tunisia with ages between 24 and 37 intending to reach Schengen area. The aforementioned people stated that they took the train from Timisoara to Arad from where they went by car up to Nadlac, from where they walked over the field till they were apprehended. They acted this way due to the fact that they had no visa for Schengen area.
Border Police officers interrupted their trip and drawn prior acts of criminal investigation on the offence of attempt for illegally cross the state border, following at the end of the investigation to take the imposed legal measures.
Within only two days Border Police officers within Nadlac Border Police Sector detected 10 people attempting to illegally cross the green border.

False identities at the border


Border Police officers within Arad County Border Police Inspectorate detected four people (relatives) from Iran trying to exit illegally our country by presenting at the border control false identity documents.
Yesterday morning, at Nadlac border Crossing Point came in order to exit our country four people identifying themselves with documents issued by Bulgarian authorities.
At the border check suspicions arose in regards to their Bulgarian identity cards. Thus, following the checks of the documents with the support of the equipment was established the fact that they are totally falsified.
Following the investigation resulted that the aforementioned people are Iranians, with ages between 14 and 38 years old, a family (mother, father, the child and a sister in law). They stated that they got the false documents via an unknown person for the amount of 1,000 Euro for all and they acted in this regards due to the fact that they had no Schengen visas, their final destination being Austria.
Border Police officers interrupted their trip and drawn prior acts of criminal investigation on the offence of false regarding the identity and attempt for illegally cross the state border.
At the end of the investigation they will be presented to the prosecutor in order to be taken the imposed legal measures.
