Border Police officers within Timis Border Police County Inspectorate detected a baby deer shot and two men carrying a hunting rifle.
Yesterday, at about 15.00 hours, a Border Police patrol carrying out tasks in the area of responsibility, noticed gunfire in Pustinis.
A specific action was initiated, having as results the detection of two males, with no identity documents. The males were carrying a hunting rifle SKB brand, 16 mm. caliber, kept in a holster.
Following the investigation was established that the two men are Romanians, 53 and 63 years old, living in Timis County. After searching the area, at about 1 km. away from the apprehending area, were found, thrown in a channel, three hunting tubes, 16 mm caliber and a shot baby deer, weighting around 30 kilos.
The aforementioned people stated that they were present there, in that area in order to check the filed and that they had nothing to do with the death animal.
The seized goods and the shot baby deer were handed over to representatives of Timis County Police Inspectorate and the investigations are in process under the coordination of Weapons, Explosives and Dangerous Substances Service.
